I wanted to say hi to all my old friends that may still remember me.

I'm actually not sure what brings me back to these forums or the NWN community often.

A friend of mine plays MMORPG's and she and I had a discussion about why I didn't have a lust for MMORPG's anymore.

This is why I am here, actually. This is why I even dared to post on three kingdoms forums [i was polite, i said thanks for the good times and thanks for leaving these archives here so I can read about my old adventures with Fing and sometimes ChaosRapier and Mordaedil, although only Fing was truly crazy enough to involve himself in our worst activities]

To the point, I told her I was never much of an MMORPGer to begin with. I played NWN because I like drinking absinthe, and experiencing the world through different perspectives, and living out fantasies that involve heroic and great deeds.

Playing a video game to grind out experience point levels... to spend countless hours crafting... to kiss the asses of guildmasters with no true vision of the future or logical place in the reality paradigm created... these things are what I fought so violently against in a quixotic crusade as El'essar Notorious...

Ironically wasted at least 102-256 days of my life playing MMORPG's doing... excluding NWN, none of it was a waste. Not a single moment.

I can't commit to any games because I've been banned on Three Kingdoms, and I do have other cd keys but I am not dishonorable enough to disrespect the decision to ban me.

I'd love to play NWN 2 but my PC is just a teency step down from handling it.

Don't get me wrong. I've gotten max level on a few of these stupid "mmorpg's" and the best gear, made many good friends...

Even Three Kingdoms and dabbling here I consider a real fun time.

Just wanted to say, thanks for helping to sculpt why and what I believe in fantasy for. I'm sorry it involved conflict so much, perhaps I shouldn't have been a Bard. I really should've been a Paladin.

The legacy lives on, even if these forums are dead, even if you guys are dead...

Everyone just has a different idea of what fantasy is and how it works. Fantasy is the point though, and I'm glad you guys taught me that.

Oh wow. I haven't checked this forum until today and I actually saw activity.

I was rather surprised, really.

Though I agree TK. Currently I'm playing APB beta, but it's just not the same if you don't have a group you're fooling around with.

Though yeah, you'd know how to reach me if you'd want to.

For the rest of you, I'm kinda more attentive to Skype these days, so if you go on that and add "Mordaedil", you'll probably see me on every day.
